Ocean Princess

The Ocean Princess is a 78 foot party boat docked at 307 Dorchester Street in downtown Ocean City, Maryland, about five minutes from the inlet. Captain Victor Bunting owns and runs her, and his family has fished Ocean City for four generations. In 2022 the boat was repowered with new Cummins engines, so the run to the grounds is short.

Sea bass is the main catch, with flounder, triggerfish, croaker, tautog and bluefish depending on the season. Four hour trips run 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m., about 8 to 15 miles out, for $58. Night trips on select summer evenings run 6 to 10 p.m. for $58. The spring and fall special runs 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for $65 with 50 people at most. There is a 6 hour trip on Mondays in July and August for $70, and 7 hour trips 15 to 30 miles out in spring and fall for $80. The 10 hour trip is capped at 35 anglers and costs $120. A limited tilefish trip for blueline and golden tilefish leaves at 4 a.m. for $265.
