Angler

The Angler is the longest-operating fishing family boat in Ocean City, Maryland, with roots going back to the post-World War II era. Captain Chris Mizurak, a 100-ton USCG licensed captain with over 20 years at the helm, runs daily fishing trips from the dock at 312 Talbot Street in downtown Ocean City.

Trip options range from a family-friendly 3-hour afternoon run on Tuesday and Thursday to a full 10-hour deep-sea trip departing at 6 AM. The 6.5-hour and 8-hour trips offer a good balance for anglers looking to reach the productive offshore structure without committing to a full day. Target species include Flounder, Sea Bass, Bluefish, Triggerfish, and seasonal shark.

Bait is included on all fishing trips. Rod and reel rentals are available for $6. Group specials are offered for schools, senior organizations, parties, and corporate outings.

The Angler also runs 45-minute sunset dolphin cruises in the evening, with discounted fares available when paired with dinner at a partnering local restaurant.
