A bay head boat in West Ocean City, MD, running three hour back bay trips three times a day for flounder, croaker, spot, sea bass and blues.
The Miss Ocean City is a Coast Guard inspected head boat that docks at slip 8 behind the Shark on the Harbor restaurant on Sunset Avenue in West Ocean City, Maryland.
Every trip is three hours in the calm back bays behind Ocean City. Boats leave at 8:30 AM, 12:30 PM and 4:30 PM. The ride to the fishing grounds takes 10 to 20 minutes, so most of the trip is spent fishing. Flounder are the main catch, along with croaker, spot, trout, kingfish, bluefish and sea bass. You often see dolphins, wild horses and shore birds on the way.
