About Blueline Tilefish
A deepwater bottom fish found at depths of 200 to 800 feet in the Gulf and South Atlantic. Blueline Tilefish are identified by a distinctive blue-gold line from snout to eye. They are excellent eating with firm, white, sweet-flavored flesh. Known scientifically as Caulolatilus microps.
