Head boat on the Morehead City, NC waterfront running half day and full day bottom fishing trips for snapper, grouper, triggerfish and black sea bass.
The Carolina Princess sails from 604 Evans Street on the Morehead City waterfront. She is a 55 foot fiberglass Yank Marine that carries up to 49 passengers and cruises at about 11 knots. Capt. Tyler runs the boat and Jessica runs the office, phones and social media.
The half day trip runs 8 AM to 2 PM and mostly catches snapper, black sea bass and porgies. The full day trip runs 6 AM to 5 PM out to the inshore edge of the Gulf Stream, where the targets are red, silver and vermilion snapper, grouper, triggerfish and black sea bass, with a shot at dolphin, amberjack, mackerel and wahoo. Adults pay $85 cash for a half day and $125 cash for a full day, with card prices $5 higher and lower fares for kids 12 and under.
