The Tornado has a long and interesting history that started in Marysville, WA in 1969. After the building process was finished at Westport Shipyard, she began making trips out of Westport under Ed Besel. She then fished out of Monterey, CA for a number of years before being brought back to her home port of Westport by her new owners. Since 2005, she has undergone extensive amounts of maintenance, repair and refitting to turn her into one of the most well equipped charter boats in her class.
