Mutineer Charters

Mutineer Charters is a booking office on East Dock Street in Westport, Washington, with six boats: Slammer, Gold Rush, Hot Pursuit, Fury, Stardust and Reel Electric. The Slammer is a 50 foot boat, Gold Rush and Hot Pursuit are 43 foot Deltas, and Stardust is a 40 footer. You can book a seat on a big boat, a limited load trip with fewer people at the rail, or a six person trip.

Bottom fishing runs from the second Saturday in March to the third Saturday in October and targets rockfish and lingcod. Boats leave at 6 a.m. in spring and fall and 5 a.m. in summer, and get back mid afternoon. A big boat seat is $237. Halibut trips leave at 4 a.m. on set days from May, fish 400 to 700 feet of water, and cost $420 on a big boat. Deep water bottom fishing goes for bigger rockfish and lingcod for $340. Salmon trips for kings and silvers usually run July through September, and there are salmon and rockfish combo trips too. Two day albacore trips leave the evening before and cost $850.
