Per person charter trips on the 43 foot Predator from Westport, WA, for rockfish, lingcod, kings and silvers, plus spring halibut and deepwater lingcod runs.

Predator is a 43 foot Delta charter boat run by Captain Derek from Float 8 in the Westport Marina in Washington. She was built in Seattle in 1977, has been the Predator since 2015, and got new Cummins engines before the 2024 season. Seats are sold per person, with up to 15 anglers on most trips.

Bottomfish trips for rockfish and lingcod run from mid March to the end of September, and salmon trips go after kings and silvers close to port. Both cost $230. A combo trip for salmon and rockfish is $330. In May and June there are halibut trips at $400 and deepwater lingcod trips at $330. Salmon and bottomfish are fished 6 to 20 miles out, halibut and deep lingcod 25 to 50 miles. The boat usually gets back around 3 p.m.
