Blue Eyes

The Blue Eyes is a 50-foot Rawson fiberglass charter boat operating out of Westport, Washington. Built in 1967 and upgraded with state-of-the-art John Deere engines and Furuno, Garmin, and Raymarine electronics, she offers limited-load fishing trips on the productive Pacific Northwest waters, just 2.5 hours from Seattle and 3 hours from Portland.

Trip options rotate with the seasons. Rockfish and Lingcod trips run from mid-March through mid-October, seven days a week, with limits of 7 rockfish and 2 lingcod per person. Salmon trips typically open July 1 for Chinook and Coho. Combination trips pair salmon and rockfish in a single day. Halibut trips fish at depths of 500 to 700 feet, 25 to 50 miles offshore, on limited dates under the quota system. Albacore tuna trips push 30 to 80 miles offshore using live bait methods.

Bait, tax, and all gear are included on every trip. Capacity varies by trip type: 22 for rockfish and salmon, 14 for halibut, 12 for deep-water lingcod, and 8 for albacore tuna. The vessel features flat fishing decks with no steps, one of the nicest marine restrooms in the charter fleet, a heated cabin with a microwave, and USCG safety certification.
