Seabreeze Charters

Sea Breeze Charters runs a fleet of charter boats from 185 Howerton Ave SE in Ilwaco, Washington, at the mouth of the Columbia River. The family has fished out of Ilwaco for more than 60 years. Boats include the 50 foot Monte Carlo, the 43 foot Sea Breeze and Salty Dog and the 50 foot Four Sea'sons, which each carry 12, plus the six passenger Bluefin, Legacy and Dolphin. You can book a single seat or the whole boat.

Salmon trips run about eight hours or until limits from late June through September, from $190 per person on the larger boats. Ocean halibut trips run about 10 hours on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays in May and June, at $325. Bottom fish trips go near shore in 100 to 350 feet for $210, or to the edge of the Astoria Canyon in 350 to 550 feet for $250, for lingcod and rockfish. Albacore tuna trips run 12 hours from late July through September for $475. There are also Columbia River sturgeon trips and Dungeness crab trips in calm water under Cape Disappointment. Prices are plus tax, and six passenger boats cost more.
