An 85 foot Lydia open boat at Montauk Marine Basin running reservation only full day trips for fluke, sea bass, blackfish, cod and porgies.
The Miss Montauk II is an 85 foot Lydia yacht that docks at Montauk Marine Basin on West Lake Drive in Montauk. Captain Jamie Quaresimo runs her with his family.
Open boat trips are full days and run most of the year. In summer the regular fluke trip goes 7 AM to 4 PM, and an extended fluke trip goes 6 AM to 6 PM. Sea bass, porgies, triggerfish and stripers often come up on fluke rigs. In fall the boat fishes for blackfish with crabs and for sea bass and porgies with clams, including longer Block Island sea bass and blackfish trips. Winter cod trips run about 5 AM to 4 PM to spots like Coxes Ledge. There are also 24 and 36 hour tilefish trips in spring and fall.
