About This Boat
65 foot party boat at Captree State Park on Long Island, running day fluke trips in summer and day and night striped bass trips in the fall.
The FishFinder II is a 65 foot twin diesel party boat docked at Captree State Park, at the center of the dock right behind the restaurant. Capt. Walter Czekaj owns and runs her, and the Coast Guard certifies her for up to 80 passengers.
In summer the boat fishes for fluke. Weekend trips run 10 AM to 3 PM and weekday trips 10 AM to 4 PM. In mid October the schedule switches to striped bass and bluefish from 10 AM to 4 PM, fished around the bunker schools, plus a 7 PM to 11:30 PM striped bass trip with live eels Thursday through Sunday. Adult fares run $62 to $70, with lower prices for seniors 65 and over and kids 12 and under on most trips.
