The King Cod VII is a 55-foot solid fiberglass fishing vessel built by Yank Marine, operating out of Captree State Park in Bay Shore, New York for over 25 years. Powered by twin screws with a full keel for stability, she is licensed for 48 passengers but limits offshore trips to half capacity for a quality fishing experience.

Open boat ling fishing trips run on Saturdays and Sundays from 4 AM to 4 PM, a full 12-hour day targeting Ling Cod on the productive deep-water wrecks and mud holes off Long Island. Everything needed for the trip is included. Private charters for 10 to 20 passengers are also available throughout the week.

The vessel is equipped with the latest safety equipment and modern fish-finding technology for locating wreck fish and deep-water structure. Captain Joe and Captain Kris have decades of experience on these waters. Daily fishing reports are posted on the King Cod Facebook page.
