About This Boat
Three sportfishing boats out of San Pedro running local half and 3/4 day trips, full day Catalina Island trips, lobster combos and overnight tuna trips.
LA Waterfront Cruises and Sportfishing runs three boats from 550 S. Harbor Boulevard in San Pedro: the Sport King, the Gail Force and the Triton. The Sport King is 65 feet and carries up to 49 anglers. The Gail Force is 55 feet with a max load of 40. The Triton is 60 feet, carries 40 on day trips and about 20 overnight, and has 30 bunks.
The trip list covers half day and 3/4 day local fishing, full day trips to Catalina Island, overnight trips, and 1.5 and 2 day offshore trips for tuna. In summer the boats target yellowtail, white seabass, barracuda, bonito, calico bass and sand bass. In winter they fish shallower water for sheephead, whitefish, rockfish, sculpin and salmon grouper.
