Deep Sea Headquarters

Captain Kelly's Deep Sea Headquarters runs its fishing trips from 440 W. Cotter Road in Port Aransas, Texas. The party boats are the Gulf Eagle, the largest in the fleet with a heated and air conditioned cabin, and the Kingfisher. The 70 foot Pelican handles private charters.

The bay trip lasts 3.5 hours and goes out morning and afternoon all year in the calm Corpus Christi Channel for gafftop, whiting and sand trout. Adults pay $53. Offshore, the 8 hour trip sails every day except Wednesday. It runs 20 to 30 miles out for kingfish, sharks, vermilion snapper, ling and red snapper in season, and adults pay $142. The 12 hour trip goes Wednesdays, 35 to 45 miles out, from $173. A 5 hour afternoon trip runs May through September. From January to April there are 5 and 12 hour state water trips.
