Williams Party Boats sails from Pier 19 in Galveston with two boats. The Captain John is a 75 foot aluminum catamaran that runs the offshore trips and carries up to 83 people on day trips and 40 on overnights. The Texsun II is a 70 foot boat that handles the shorter bay and jetty trips. Every trip is a walk-on, so you buy a ticket and fish with whoever else is aboard.

The 4 hour bay and jetty trip leaves at 8:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and stays within about five miles, working the Galveston jetties for sharks, redfish, black drum, sand trout, whiting and flounder. Kids 3 and up can go. The 8, 10 and 12 hour trips head out to rigs, reefs and structures for snapper, kingfish, ling, spadefish, grouper and amberjack. The 12 hour trip can run up to 80 miles out. The 36 hour trip bottom fishes in deep water, then spends the night fishing floating oil platforms up to 200 miles out for yellowfin and blackfin tuna.
