The Rosie is a 65 foot party boat out of Center Moriches, NY, running fluke and striped bass trips on Moriches Bay and the ocean.
The Rosie is a 65 foot fishing boat licensed for up to 78 passengers. It sails from 222 Old Neck Road in Center Moriches, on Long Island's south shore. Captain Brian Donohue has fished Moriches Bay and the Atlantic for more than 30 years.
Fluke is the main draw, and the boat also runs striped bass trips. On weekends and holidays there are two trips a day, 7:30am to 11am and 12pm to 3:30pm. Weekday sailings change from week to week. When the boat goes out on a weekday it runs a longer 7:30am to 3pm trip, and the schedule is posted on their Facebook page.
