GulfStar Endurance

The GulfStar Endurance is an 85 by 24 foot boat run by GulfStar Deep Sea Fishing, whose office is at 810 Dodecanese Boulevard in Tarpon Springs, Florida. She was rebuilt in 2022 with new engines, generators and live bait wells. The boat runs multi-day trips only, limited to about 20 to 22 anglers.

The 44 hour trip leaves at 6 pm and runs 6 to 7 hours out to the Florida Middle Grounds and the Elbow, giving about 30 hours of fishing in 100 to 160 feet of water. Expect red, mutton, mangrove, vermilion and yellowtail snapper, red and gag grouper, triggerfish, kingfish and wahoo, with some species open only in season. Longer options include a 3 day Golden Grounds trip, a 4 day deep drop trip for grouper and tilefish, and slow pitch jigging trips. The deep trips fish the bottom by day and pelagics at night.
