Gambler

The Gambler is a 90 foot party boat that sails from 59 Inlet Drive in Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey. She was built in Maine in 2005, runs four engines, and can make up to 30 knots. The family business has been running boats since 1949.

Most trips stay 1 to 6 miles from the inlet. Summer brings 4.5 hour half day fluke trips and 5 hour night wreck trips for ling, cod, mackerel, bluefish and flounder, with underwater lights built into the hull. Three quarter day trips of 6.5 to 7 hours chase fluke and sea bass in spring, summer and fall, and striped bass from November 1. Spring adds 8 hour Raritan Bay striper trips limited to 25 people and a few 10 hour sea bass and wreck trips. Further out, there are 12 hour inshore trips for mahi, bonito and false albacore, 24 and 30 hour canyon trips for tuna, swordfish, mahi and tilefish, 24 hour tilefish trips, and 19 hour winter trips for jumbo sea bass.
