The Big Mohawk sails out of Belmar, New Jersey, offering daily ocean fishing trips for up to 40 anglers. Founded by Captain Chris Hueth, who spent nearly half a century on the water and earned legend status in the New Jersey fishing industry, the Big Mohawk continues to operate under the Hueth family with Director of Operations Greg Hueth, who serves on advisory committees for NJ and Mid-Atlantic fisheries.

Daily trips run 8 to 9 hours, departing at 6 AM with boarding by 5:30 AM. Target species rotate with the seasons: Blackfish from April through late fall and winter, Sea Bass in May through June and again in October, Fluke throughout the summer months, and Striped Bass in November. Walk-on fishing is welcome with no reservation required.

The vessel features spacious seating areas, open decks, comfortable lounges, and shade areas. Rod and tackle rentals are available on board. Private fishing charters and sunset cruises can be arranged by contacting the crew directly.
