Ocean Whitefish Fishing Charters

Ocean Whitefish is a member of the tilefish family found from British Columbia to Peru, most commonly caught in the waters off Southern California and the Channel Islands. A popular target on party boats out of ports like Oxnard and Ventura, Ocean Whitefish are caught on rocky reefs and underwater structure at moderate depths. They are good eating with firm, mild white flesh. Known scientifically as Caulolatilus princeps.
