St. Augustine party boat fishing from Cat's Paw Marina, with six and eight hour bottom trips 10 to 25 miles offshore for snapper, grouper, triggerfish and amberjack.
Sea Love Charters sails from Cat's Paw Marina at 220 Nix Boat Yard Road in St. Augustine, Florida, and has fished Northeast Florida's offshore waters since 1980. The party trips run on two boats, the Sea Love II, which holds 60 passengers, and the Sea Love III, which holds 30.
There are two open boat trips, both offered year round. The Super Half Day is six hours, runs 10 to 15 miles out in 65 to 90 feet of water, and costs $115 for adults. The Full Day is eight hours, runs 15 to 25 miles out in 80 to 100 feet, and costs $135. Kids 6 to 14 and military, first responders and nurses pay less. The boat anchors on reefs, wrecks, live bottom and ledges for vermilion and red snapper, gag grouper, triggerfish, black sea bass, amberjack, sharks and cobia. Kingfish, mahi, blackfin tuna, wahoo and sailfish show up too.
