Two big aluminum party boats in Port Canaveral, FL, running 6 hour and 9 hour bottom fishing trips 18 to 25 miles offshore, plus summer night shark trips.
The Orlando Princess Fishing Fleet runs two party boats from Port Canaveral, docked between Rusty's and Gator's Dockside restaurants. The 95 foot Orlando Princess handles the half day and night trips, and the 90 foot Canaveral Princess runs the full day trips.
The half day trip lasts 6 hours and the full day trip runs 9 hours. Depending on the trip and the captain's plan, the boats run about 18 to 25 miles out into the Atlantic. The crew fishes for mangrove and lane snapper, grouper, triggerfish, sea bass, cobia, kingfish and amberjack, with red snapper only when the season is open. From April to October the Orlando Princess also runs a night shark trip closer to shore, Wednesday through Saturday from 6pm to 10pm.
