About This Boat
A 40 foot deep sea boat from Fisherman's Wharf Marina in Venice, FL, taking no more than 17 anglers on 4, 6 and 8 hour Gulf bottom fishing trips.
The Miss Venice is a 40 foot Marine Sea Harvester with a 14 foot beam, run by Sarasota Fishing Fleet from Fisherman's Wharf Marina at 465 North Tamiami Trail in Venice. Captain Joe Bernhard and Captain Skip Turner run the boat, and Tommy is the first mate.
The boat takes 17 people at most. The 4 hour trip goes up to 8 miles out from 4 to 8 PM, Sunday through Friday. The 6 hour trip goes up to 15 miles out from 8 AM to 2 PM on the same days. On Saturdays the 8 hour trip runs 8 AM to 4 PM and goes up to 25 miles. All trips bottom fish with light tackle for grouper, snapper, grunts, porgies, triggerfish, mackerel, amberjack and more.
