The Gulfstream IV is a party boat on Charter Boat Row in Key West, FL, running a daily 6 hour reef trip for yellowtail, mutton and lane snapper and grouper, plus summer night trips.
Gulfstream Fishing has run party boat trips from Historic Charter Boat Row in Key West since 1947. The current boat is the Gulfstream IV, docked at 1801 North Roosevelt Boulevard. Shared trips are capped at 35 people, counting kids and riders.
The main trip leaves every day at 10 am and gets back at 4 pm, year round. The boat runs about 3 to 10 miles out to the reef and wrecks, anchors in roughly 20 to over 100 feet of water, and chums with squid to bring the fish up. Yellowtail snapper is the main catch, with mutton snapper in late spring and summer, red and black grouper in season, and lane snapper, porgies and grunts year round. Hogfish, cero mackerel, kingfish and mangrove snapper also show up. From June to August there is a 5.5 hour night trip on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, leaving at 7 pm.
