Cora Beth Fishing runs the 60 foot Cora Beth II from C Dock, Slip 5 at 230 Margaret Street in Key West. The boat could fit 50 anglers at the rail, but the owners cap public trips at 35 to cut down on tangles and leave more room.
The daily 5 hour reef trip fishes within 15 miles of Key West in 20 to 160 feet of water. It targets yellowtail, mangrove, lane and mutton snapper, with red, black and gag grouper caught often. Adults pay $75 and kids 12 and under $60. The 4 hour sunset snapper trip runs during daylight saving time for $64 and ends with the sunset. The 10 hour full day trip ranges 30 miles or more and fishes 20 to 300 feet for a wider mix of snapper and grouper. It costs $140 and takes 24 passengers.
