Monkfish Fishing Charters

Monkfish, also known as Goosefish or All-Mouth, is a bottom-dwelling species found from the Grand Banks to North Carolina. Known for its exceptionally broad, flat head and enormous mouth, Monkfish is prized for its firm, sweet tail meat that is often compared to lobster. It is commonly caught as bycatch on party boat bottom fishing trips in New England and the Mid-Atlantic.
