Full day party boat fishing from Belmar, NJ, for sea bass, porgies, blackfish, fluke and cod on the ocean grounds off the Jersey Shore.
The Ocean Explorer is a party boat docked at 900 River Road in Belmar, New Jersey. Captain Bobby Quinn posts fishing reports from the boat most days, and the boat fishes out of Belmar 364 days a year.
The main trip is a full day for jumbo sea bass, running 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., about eight hours. The boat runs offshore and anchors over the bottom, and recent catches have been sea bass with plenty of porgies mixed in. Through the year the boat also fishes for blackfish, fluke and cod.
