Hudson Marina sits on Terry Cove at 4575 South Wilson Boulevard in Orange Beach, Alabama. It is family-owned and runs its public fishing trips on large inspected boats: the America II and Sea Pearl, both 65 feet, and the Explorer, the biggest of the three. Each has an air conditioned cabin and restrooms.
The 4 hour trip leaves daily at 8 AM and 2 PM and costs $69 for any age. It heads into the Gulf to bottom fish for red snapper in season, vermilion snapper, white snapper, triggerfish and porgy, with the odd grouper or amberjack. The 6 hour trip is $125 and goes farther out to deeper reefs and wrecks for vermilion snapper, triggerfish and lane snapper. Both trips add a $10 fuel surcharge and 15 percent gratuity.
