Sheepshead Fishing Charters

A distinctive fish identified by its bold black-and-white vertical stripes and human-like teeth. Sheepshead are found near pilings, jetties, bridges, and oyster bars along the Atlantic and Gulf coasts. They are challenging to hook due to their ability to steal bait but are excellent eating. Known scientifically as Archosargus probatocephalus.

Sheepshead hold in inshore/structure, typically running 2-8 lbs on the rod, with a fight rated moderate-strong, and table fare considered excellent.
