Goliath Grouper Fishing Charters

The Goliath Grouper is the largest grouper species in the Atlantic Ocean, capable of exceeding 800 pounds and 8 feet in length. Found primarily in Florida waters around reefs, wrecks, and bridge pilings, Goliath Grouper are a popular catch-and-release target on party boats. Florida opened a limited harvest season in recent years, but most encounters remain catch-and-release only. Known scientifically as Epinephelus itajara.
