Marketplace Standards
Party Boats USA is a marketplace that connects anglers with party boat operators. These standards define what we expect from every listing on the platform and how we keep the experience trustworthy for everyone.
Listing Accuracy
- Every listing must include accurate trip types, pricing, species targeted, and port of departure.
- Photos must represent the actual vessel and fishing experience.
- Pricing shown on the listing must match what the angler pays at the dock. No hidden fees.
- Operators are expected to keep their listings current. Outdated listings may be unpublished.
Safety and Licensing
- All listed vessels must hold current USCG licensing and inspection where required.
- Operators are responsible for maintaining safety equipment, crew certifications, and insurance as required by federal and state law.
- Party Boats USA does not independently verify licensing but will remove any listing reported to be operating without required credentials.
Review Integrity
- Reviews are collected from anglers who identify the boat they fished. Reviews are moderated for spam and abuse but are not filtered for sentiment.
- Operators may respond publicly to any review through the captain's portal.
- Fake reviews, incentivized reviews, or review manipulation will result in listing removal.
Operator Responsiveness
- Operators who claim their listing are expected to respond to angler inquiries submitted through the platform.
- Listings with sustained unresponsiveness may be flagged or unpublished.
- Party Boats USA provides tools for operators to manage communications, reviews, and listing updates through the captain's portal.
